*Sportico: Director of Corporate Sales*COVID-19 HIRING UPDATE: We have transitioned to a remote work model and are continuing to hire during this time. This role is expected to begin as a remote position. We appreciate this is unprecedented times and will work closely with you, taking into account your individual circumstances. *Sportico*, a leading sports business publisher, is seeking a passionate and highly skilled *Director of Corporate Sales* to grow and manage the portfolio of business and educational partners subscribing to Sportico’s digital content and live media products.Broadly, the role will lead Sportico’s corporate and educational partner sales efforts through all stages, comprising pitching proposals, lead generation and nurturing, sales conversations, and negotiations through to close. Oversee the effective provisioning and account management support to ultimately ensure a high rate of client success.*Reporting to the VP, Brand Development and Partnerships, the Director of Corporate Sales will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:* * Securing sales with corporate entities and educational institutions for multi-user subscription packages, across multiple products* Leveraging Sportico’s systems to share analytics and data points to inform sales conversations* Managing relationships with the portfolio of corporate and educational partners; nurturing relationships to ensure a high renewal rate of these accounts; create collaborative and mutually rewarding partnerships.* Work directly with clients, building a trusted and dependable relationship, to further the sales efforts* Identify where PMC/Sportico’s marketing systems can be leveraged by partner sales function to improve outbound partnership marketing to B2B and educational audiences, with the goal of increasing inbound leads* Create and manage performance reporting on the corporate subscription sales business unit* Some international travel may be required*The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:* * 3-7 years of sales/marketing experience with a track record of success and innovation* Experience in field marketing and sales to institutions, preferably of media properties* Proven ability to develop, close, and implement effective partnerships* Strong Excel and Proficient with MS Office, familiarity with digital marketing systems and analytics* Basic knowledge of tech/dot.com products, ability to delve into fulfillment*About Sportico:*Launched in June 2020, Sportico (a PMC company) is the default resource for professionals seeking the latest and highest quality news and information in the $500 billion worldwide sports industry.
