MSNBC is looking for an experienced Producer for our Newsgathering and Planning team. *Responsibilities:** Work with coordinating producer, assignment desks, and NBC bureaus to devise coverage for breaking and planned news events.* Coordinate crews, security, and travel for reporters.* Research and set up coverage for reporter live hits; may be asked to virtually produce. * Coordinate with various NBC entities to flag relevant editorial and elements to show teams and on-air control room.* Regularly pitch stories, work with editors to cut tape packages, and log tape; will need to backfill for show personnel as needed.
