Bi-lingual a plus Job Description: Northern NJ disability services agency is looking for professionals to join our COVID-19 Response Team to provide a full range of disability and pandemic related services for consumers with disabilities in the Passaic & Essex Co. areas. Position involves provision of surged services and supports across various dimensions of consumers lives: Food Security; Health Access; Housing Stability;Home Supports & Pharmacy; Technology Resources; & Emergency Preparedness Plans. Knowledge of disability services and issues required. Strong telephone, research, documentation and computer skills required. Essential Job functions: Our agency is partnering with various provider agencies and local businesses developing a comprehensive resources and services network with the singular purpose of aiding individuals with disabilities most severely impacted by the COVID-19 crisis across various dimensions of their lives. The basic components of the network will include : 1.) Food Security & Related Provisions 2.) Health Access and Equity 3.) Housing Stability Resources 4.) Home Supports, Medical Supplies & Pharmacy 5.) Technology Resources 6.) Individualized Emergency Preparedness Plans Program staff will be reviewing service requests and responding to assess emergent needs of individuals with disabilities and deploy resources in concert with our community partners as quickly as possible. Related Job Functions: 1. Assists in providing information and referral to consumers, their families, and the general public. 2. Coordinate service provision and complete all required service documentation per standards. 3. Provide statistical and other input for the development of annual reporting and long-range plans. 4. Evening work and other duties based upon agency need.
