Maintenance Mechanic

Looking for An Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a Major Food Processing Plant!

• 1st and 2nd Shift!


• Must be open to OT.


• Testing will be required.


• Must be open to working in a cold storage environment, 40 degree temperature, PPE provided.

Qualifications:

• Experience with 480V.


• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting preferred.


• Comfortable with single and 3 phase motors.


• Familiar with VFD's, Relays, motors, switches, belts, drives.

Duties:

• Lock Out / Tag Out.


• Follow GMP Regulations.


• Complete scheduled PM's and Work Orders.


• Explain root cause analysis.


• Respond to calls on the production line.


• Enter and close work order in EMPAC system.


• Create a Work Request in the system for corrective work needed.


• Communicate with A/C and planner any work that may need to be rescheduled for the next week.


• Maintains and repairs production equipment.


• Maintains and repairs plant support equipment, including HVAC, and electrical/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems.


• Performs inventory control forms, purchases, requisitions, repair forms, etc…


• Participates in all safety related functions.
