Job Description
As a late shift Producer for the TODAY show, you will be responsible for pitching, developing, and turning news of day live segments and pieces for next day air. The team is primarily a New York based team, but this position has the ability to be remote, therefore we are open to geographic location. *Responsibilities:*- Produce original news content, primarily for broadcast, including research, conducting interviews, writing and editing scripts, field producing and shooting, overseeing editing, and producing live newsmaker segments.- Role is expected to both pitch story ideas and work on assigned stories developed by the editorial team- Work with Standards & Legal Team to ensure Editorial Standards of all segmentsJob
