The incumbent also serves as a source of EIP knowledge, and is responsible for managing all activities related to the prevention, control, documentation and reporting of nosocomial acquired infections and communicable diseases throughout the organization (inpatient and ambulatory). The incumbent also mentors members of the EIP team, and oversees the work product of supervised employees covering all aspects of EIP care. Salary is commensurate with experience and education Required Qualifications:Must be able to gather statistics and form reports/worksheetsAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadCertification in Infection Control (CIC)Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishSkills in IT as it relates to infection control as well as skills in conducting online research.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management or leadership role within a hospital or health care organizationAbility to work well with individuals across a variety of levelsDemonstrated leadership skills in working with individuals and teamsDemonstrated skill in data management and analysisMust possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned dutiesDemonstrated ability to work with or understand data bases, systems opportunities, and statistical analysisMinimum of 5 years’ experience with infection controlExcellent customer service skillsMaster's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Epidemiology or other public health related field or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExcellent public speaking skills Preferred Qualifications:
