We are currently seeking a Managing Director Consulting, Wealth Practice to join our team in New York City, New York (US-NY), United States (US).

The Wealth Management Managing Director will provide domain expertise as a leader and subject matter expert across wealth and private banking past and current trends solving business problems via technology solutions and consulting expertise. Our Wealth Management focuses on key areas of large-scale transformation – people, process, and technology. Additional areas of client discussion and delivery could include program and project management, governance, vendor relationships (specifically AFS), business analysis, process reengineering, digital enablement and automation, risk and compliance, SDLC life-cycles. This role is anchored on business expertise in the wealth management and private banking spaces with deep familiarity with the underlying technology capabilities to enable the people and process. We serve 40 of the leading financial services and insurance firms in North America, leveraging our Consulting expertise with our Delivery capabilities, and supporting through Value Added Services.

The Wealth Management, Managing Director is the go-to-market leader, lead solutioner, Subject matter expert and thought leader advocate for Wealth Management Practice within NTT's Financial Services Consulting business sector. This person is responsible for providing leadership to the practice, our clients and key projects in the Wealth Management and the Private Banking practice. This person will have deep knowledge of the subject matter and uses this to help develop and deliver solutions for the clients, working with our FSI sales and client leaders. This person will network with industry leaders, internal FSI sales and client leadership, current clients, and potential clients to understand and communicate current and future trends. This person is a key leader to the sales pursuit process, working with FSI sales and client leaders to create presentations and proposal responses demonstrating NTT Wealth Management capabilities and expertise to meet client needs.

Practice Building and Practice Leadership


  • Assessment of current state of NTT's Wealth Management practice and capabilities, identification of leverage points to build from and articulation, depiction, and plan for future state Wealth Management practice

  • Ability to connect with existing Wealth Management client leaders and collaboratively formulation client/plans and strategy to help grow presence in those clients in Wealth Management and thereby grow practice

  • Work with Practice team to further define the overall practice growth plan – financial, capability, revenue, etc. to establish and evolve Wealth Management practice

Client Relationships and Sales Pursuits


  • Scoping and leading the delivery of wholesale lending related work and supporting and guiding junior team members as required

  • Management and quality control of development and analysis work streams in a wide range of project contexts

  • Leveraging skills and experience to support the development of proposals and marketing propositions

  • Evaluating new technologies to expand the scope of the team's work and improve its efficiency

  • Contributing to the firm's talent agenda and helping to create a more inclusive culture

  • Management of 3rd party platform Partnership relationships

Solution Architecture


  • Drive client solutioning for Financial Services Consulting sales pursuits in the practice area

  • Understand the business challenge and what the client wants to achieve

  • Formulate the solution based on expertise in practice area and Wealth Management practice capabilities

  • Identify the value proposition and differentiators for our Wealth Management practice

  • Develop the storyline that represents all our capabilities to address the client's problem

  • Leverage experience and good working knowledge of Wealth Management platforms to continue to evolve NTT's solution set in Wealth and Private Banking

Collateral, Asset, and Community Development


  • Develop practice area collateral, offerings, and supporting materials

  • Communicate collateral and offering messaging effectively to Financial Services Consulting Sales and Client teams for qualification discussions

  • Drive development of assets (e.g. tools, accelerators, etc.) and intellectual property (e.g. playbooks)

  • Provide guidance to Wealth Management billable consultants in the practice area for professional development

  • Identify and coach next generation of leaders in practice area
