Print Production Designer

Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial has an exciting opportunity for a Print Production Designer to join our US Hispanic team located in Miami, FL. As the Print Production Designer, you will be responsible for the design and print production of our domestic -publishing program. This role operates within in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to get his/her/their career started in the book production design world!Responsibilities: * Designing or modifying covers and interior pages for our new releases, including the creation of title treatments and interior layouts. * Oversight of the hiring and supervising of off-sites freelancers for the design, adjustment and layout of new releases and reprints. * Preparing and approval of press ready files and proofs. * Traffic coordination of materials for approval with multiple players. * Creating, maintaining, and strictly adhering to schedules. * Archiving digital file assets correctly once the title has been printed.
