We Are Hiring

We are hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to work on our Medical Surgical Orthopedic floor! 

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Certification credentialed through Alabama Certified Nurse Aide Registry required

  • 7am to 7pm

  • Rotating Weekends

As a Certified Nursing Assistant with Providence Hospital-AL, you will have the opportunity to assist with patient care activities.
Responsibilities:

  • Assists with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).

  • Accommodates patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.

  • Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.

  • Assists with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.

What You Will Need
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

  • Required Credential(s):


    • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. 

    • Certified Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentialed from the Alabama Certified Nurse Aide Registry


Education:

  • Diploma 

    • High school diploma or GED required.

Work Experience:
  • Previous experience working as a CNA preferred.
