Overview We are offering a $5,000 Sign -On Bonus forthis PT position, paid in your first check, with a 2 yearcommitment to Mission Health. Staffing Pool positions are eligiblefor a $5/hour premium differential once orientation is complete, inaddition to regular shift differentials. About the Department: The staffingpool at Mission Hospital consists of Medical Surgical - Telemetry,Progressive Care, and Critical Care Pools. Registered Nurses willsupport 12 different medical surgical units, 6 progressive careunits, and 5 intensive care units. Opportunities to advance toProgressive Care and Critical Care areas after nine months inMedical Surgical- Telemetry float pool. Registered Nurses: *Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professionalnursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. * Utilizesthe nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, andevaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care andteaching of patients and family. * Implements medically prescribedinterventions. Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.Effective 3/1/18 Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR enroll in a BSNor advanced degree program within 6 months AND obtain a BSN within4 years of hire date into RN position. Previous signed BSNcommitment letter OR grandfathering will be accepted betweendepartments and Mission Health entities. Exemptions may be approvedwith CNO System Council approval. Preferred Education: Master's inNursing Certifications & Licensure: * Must have and maintaincurrent licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Boardof Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license mayapply, licensee should confirm with NCBON * BLS HealthcareProvider. * National Certification in area of specialty RequiredExperience: Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in AcuteCare environment if working in Regional Pool.
