Overview Behavioral Health Nursing at HCA MissionHospital - Psych 6 North Psychiatric Registered Nurse - Adult PsychFull-Time - Days 6 North is a 23 bed adult behavioral health unitfocused on meeting all of our Behavioral Health patient's needs. Toaccommodate this, we have four medical-psychiatric designatedrooms, a calming room, spacious group rooms and soothing leisureareas for our patients to heal. We practice primary care nursingand work closely with our team of Psychiatrists, Social Workers,Masters Level Clinicians, Pharmacists and Recreational Therapists.Our treatment is holistic and intensive to allow our patients toquickly gain the tools necessary to be successful. Registered Nurseat Mission Hospital: Required Education: Bachelor of Science inNursing. Effective 3/1/18 Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR enrollin a BSN or advanced degree program within 6 months AND obtain aBSN within 4 years of hire date into RN position. Previous signedBSN commitment letter OR grandfathering will be accepted betweendepartments and Mission Health entities. Exemptions may be approvedwith CNO System Council approval. Required License orCertifications: Must have and maintain current licensure asregistered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC(Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee shouldconfirm with NCBON Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider. PreferredLicense or Certifications: National Certification in area ofspecialty. Required Experience: One-year hospital nursingexperience (NOTE: This is the baseline experience required for aRegistered Nurse at Mission Hospital. Please see PreferredExperience for preferences based on current deppartment staffingneeds) Preferred Experience: Previous experience in working as aRegistered Nurse with Behavioral Health patients, or on an adultBehavioral Health unit.
