Executive Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborates with the Board of Directors to develop and execute mission, vision, goals, and strategies.
- Participates with the Board of Directors, consultants and key personnel in the creation and evaluation of the strategic plan.
- Develops and maintains relationships with partners, funders, staff and volunteers and communicates the mission, vision and strategy to key stakeholders in person, electronically and through media.
- Establishes strategic partnerships, builds shared priorities among leaders and organizations to enhance collective impact in cancer care, research and education. Identifies innovative opportunities for partnerships and organizational enhancement.
- Serves as the organizational representative on state and national committees and as a member of Boards of Directors of related healthcare organizations.
- Establishes operating policies, procedures, evaluation methods and reports to the Board of Directors on outcomes.
- Ensures compliance with all rules and regulations governing non-profit, research, and educational organizations.
- Monitors continually the effectiveness of operations, programs, personnel and policies.
- Develops and implements a recruitment and retention plan for clinical, operational and support personnel and consultants.
- Encourages volunteer and stakeholder involvement. Ensures availability of educational, informational and enrichment programs for Board, staff and volunteers.
