Structural Designer

Job Description

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Designer to join the structural discipline group within their CAD Department. This person will join their team in Tampa, supporting Structural Engineering for water and wastewater projects across the country.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop structural design layouts in 3D applications and 2D drawings from sketches provided by engineers and senior design staff


• Assist in the preparation of structural details with project engineer's or project manager's guidance


• Develop 2D drawing views from 3D structural models and complete detailing and annotation


• Assist in the quality checking of drafted product and conformance with modeling and drawing production standards including project specific CAD/BIM
