Utilizesthe nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, andevaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care andteaching patients and family. Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.Effective 3/1/18 Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR enroll in a BSNor advanced degree program within 6 months AND obtain a BSN within4 years of hire date into RN position. Previous signed BSNcommitment letter OR grandfathering will be accepted betweendepartments and Mission Health entities. Exemptions may be approvedwith CNO System Council approval. Preferred Education: Masters inNursing Required License/Certifications: Must have and maintaincurrent licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Boardof Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license mayapply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.Certificate: BLSHealthcare Provider Preferred License/Certifications: NationalCertification in area of specialty Required Experience: 1 yearperioperative experience as Registered Nurse.Exception: ifcompleted a Perioperative Fellowship Program, no priorperioperative experience is required. Preferred Experience: 3-5years perioperative experience. Serve as Preceptor with associatedaccountabilities. Successful completion of the PerioperativeFellowship Program.
