We are seeking an Anesthesia Technician to join our busy fast-paced Surgical Services team. You will prepare anesthesia instruments, equipment, supplies, and drugs for use throughout the Department of Surgery.  If you are a caring and compassionate professional, come join our growing our team of friendly surgical processionals.

Other responsibilities may include: 

• You will set up lines and equipment for surgical procedure. 


• You will troubleshoot anesthesia machinery.


• You may assist with insertion of lines, intubation and pain blocks. 


• You will stock anesthesia carts, assist with inventory control of supplies and pharmaceuticals. 


• You will assist in gathering data for Quality Improvement. 


• You will assist the nursing staff as needed.


• You will assist the team with the decontamination and cleaning process. 

Job qualifications include:

• High school diploma or GED required


• 6 months to one year of experience  as an Anesthesia Tech required


• Related certifications in anesthesia equipment preferred


• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills required


• 
  Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  


• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching and lifting of 25 lbs.
