What YouWill Do As an Associate with Via Christi Health, you will have theopportunity to provide direct nursing care in accordance withestablished policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcareorganization. You will: * Implement and monitor patient care plans.Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. *Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines forwell-coordinated patient care. * Note and carry out physician andnursing orders. * Assess and coordinate patient's dischargeplanning needs with members of the healthcare team. What You WillNeed Licenses/Certifications/Registration: * RequiredCredential(s): * Advanced Cardiac Life Support credentialed fromthe American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 6 Months ofhire date or job transfer date. * Emergency Nursing PediatricCourse (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) obtainedwithin 6 Months of hire date or job transfer date. * BLS Providercredentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtainedwithin 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. *Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board ofNursing required prior to hire or job transfer date. * PreferredCredential(s): * Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Education: *Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required priorto hire or job transfer date. Work Experience: * Minimum 2 yearsnursing experience. Emergency services experience a plus.
