SHIFT: Mixed (rotating weekends)

SCHEDULE: Part-time


Registered Nurse 


NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit


Part Time - 48 hours every 2 week pay period




The largest medical facility in the region,Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) includes a full-service hospitalwith 318 patient beds. It serves as the region’s healthcare hub, servingsoutheast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park and parts ofMontana.  EIRMC is home toa Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (ofonly two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center inthe state of Idaho. Our ER is the mostexperienced in the region. The hospital's other specialty services include theregion's only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit capable of caring for babies born asearly as 22 weeks gestation; the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Unit, thelargest heart program in the region, a Behavioral Health Center which is a74-bed Joint Commission accredited psychiatrichospital  and the region’s only Primary Stroke Center.

Job Responsibilities:



*The NICU RN is responsible for participating in the direct care of patients in NICU.

*Performs nursing assessments of patients by observation and interaction with patient/significant others for educational, physiological, psychosocial, comfort, and safety needs

*Plans and coordinates care, and follow-up with other associates, departments, physicians and management as necessary; evaluating and documenting each patients response to interventions.

Qualifications


  1. Requires completion from an accredited school of nursing. 

  2. Must maintain current State of Idaho Registered Nurse license.

  3. AmericanRed Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS)and Certification



*Candidates with previous NICU RN experience preferred

*Candidate must have 6 months of RN experience completed by start date in October or November
