Associate Director of Scholarships

SUMMARY: The Associate Director of Scholarships is responsible for the planning, organizing and executing of the Briar Cliff Fund, which primarily raises money for scholarship support to remove financial barriers in assisting students in persisting and graduating from BCU.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Develop a yearly master plan for the annual fund that maximizes giving and alumni participation including strategies to increase donor participation and pipeline development.


• Plan/organize/execute the following components of the annual fund: direct mail, and electronic solicitations.


• Plan/organize/execute the University’s Day of Giving, Giving Tuesday and other digital strategies.


• Assists with prospect research in identifying new donors.


• Assist with Iowa College Foundation solicitations.


• Performs any other duties as assigned by the Director of Donor Relations or Vice President for University Relations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
