Completing assigned tasks to ensure timely,efficient, and safe paitent/resident care, while communicating andinteracting with patients, residents, families, and other healthteam members is an essential component of this position. KeyResponsibilities: * Perform initial and ongoing data collection onall patients/residents under the direct supervision of the RN orLPN * Implement plan of care developed by the RN based onpatient/resident physical, psychosocial, cultural, ethnic andreligious/spiritual needs * Provide direct patient/resident careand resports condition and changes to RN or LPN * Assure residentsafety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations andinitiates corrective action as appropriate * Document results ofpatient/resident care within established policies, procedures, andscope of practice * Complies with all ministry policies andprocedures * Other duties as assigned What You Will NeedLicenses/Certifications/Registration: * Required Credential(s): *Nurse Aide certification in the state of Kansas obtained prior tohire date or job transfer date. * Preferred Credential(s): * BLSProvider.
