RN - Progressive Care/Step Down

The largest medical facility in the region,Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) includes a full-service hospitalwith 318 patient beds. It serves as the region’s healthcare hub, servingsoutheast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park and parts ofMontana.  EIRMC is home toa Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (ofonly two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center inthe state of Idaho. Our ER is the mostexperienced in the region. The hospital's other specialty services include theregion's only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit capable of caring for babies born asearly as 22 weeks gestation; the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Unit, thelargest heart program in the region, a Behavioral Health Center which is a74-bed Joint Commission accredited psychiatrichospital  and the region’s only Primary Stroke Center.

*The registered nurse will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide evidence based care as part of an accredited cardiac and stroke center of excellence on this fast paced, acute care 37 bed unit.

*Graduated from an accredited Registered Nursing program

*Maintain a current Idaho Nursing license or RN Compact License required.

*Basic Dysrhythmia and, ACLS are required within first year of employment and ongoing, along with AHA or ARC CPR for Healthcare Providers certification and hospital mandatory’s for employment on Cardiac Care.
