Join a growing team with thisexciting new opportunity for a Process Maintenance Technician inour Engineering and Maintenance group at our Frederick, ColoradoGMP Facility. Work in our dynamic, fast paced, API-Biopharmamanufacturing environment with the ability to contribute to thegrowing industry of oligonucleotide (DNA-RNA) based therapeutics.Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: * Perform avariety of technical support duties in GMP manufacturing, utility,and laboratory areas. Duties may be related to installation,maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and support of manufacturingequipment, technical support of production processes, technicalanalyses and problem-solving. * Execution and coordination ofprocess maintenance activities including PMs, emergency repairs,spare parts, and electronic asset management system. * Support ofGMP activities including authoring / reviewing Standard OperatingProcedures (SOPs), Change Controls (CCs), Deviations (DEVs), andCorrective and Preventative Action plans (CAPAs) as required. *Support and operate industrial control systems such as PLCs, SCADA,and BAS. A successful person in this position will: * Supportmulti-discipline manufacturing processes with respect to therepair, maintenance, installation and/or enhancement of machineryand equipment or interrelated systems. * Evaluate, inspect, repairand maintain manufacturing equipment. * Be a self-starter,accountable for their activities and manage a varied workload ofpreventative and "on-demand" maintenance activities. * Demonstratea positive, service-based, "Client" first attitude. * Workintegrally with other departments and internal clients in a teamenvironment. * Solve complex problems requiring breadth/depth ofknowledge of technical disciplines, operations, procedures. *Communicate effectively and keep employees updated regarding thestatus of repairs and work orders (scheduled and un-scheduled). *Treat repairs and maintenances with attention to detail and anexceptional level of professionalism. * Have familiarity working inregulated environments (GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing). * Havefamiliarity working with industrial chemical systems and processes.* Document each maintenance activity accurately and in a compliantmanner within the maintenance database (Regulatory Asset Manager).* Demonstrate the Agilent core values of trust & respect,speed, integrity, focus, accountability and teamwork. PHYSICALDEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee isregularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job includeclose vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability toadjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of thisjob, the employee could be exposed to chemical fumes or airborneparticles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is exposedto moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outsideweather conditions; and high voltage electrical systems. The noiselevel in the work environment can vary. This position willprimarily support the day shift on a 12-hour rotating schedule, butmay also support varied shifts as necessary.
