Lead Finance Analyst - Mass Markets Finance - Broomfield, CO

Responsible for the management of Mass Market investments. This position owns the tracking of capital projects for the purpose of project completion forecasting and risk identification. Reevaluation of project financials and go-forward benefits will be required when cost overruns are incurred. Provide direct input into sales forecasting, supply chain demand management, and the capital accounting accrual process and partner with cross-functional organizations to reconcile plan differences. 

•    Provide near real-time tracking of in process capital projects, including forecasting and budget variance tracking of costs and delivery dates.
•    Identify high variance projects, initiate financial reviews to determine if projects should proceed, process additional funding requests when appropriate, and coordinate with the operations organization to terminate projects that are no longer feasible or fail to meet the company’s financial guardrails.  
•    Partner with Accounting team to manage CapEx monthly accrual process.
•    Work on ad-hoc analytical projects, often as part of a dynamic team composed of data scientists and software developers.
•    Identify opportunities to increase profitability and drive process improvements throughout the organization.
 

• Bachelor’s degree(s) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other quantitative discipline.
• 5+ years of experience or 2-3 years with an advanced degree.
• Track record of owning monthly financial processes and delivering timely and accurate results.
• Financial project management experience, preferably in a building or construction line of business.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in building financial models.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with other teams across operating departments.
