The Role

Develop, implement, and manage a best-in-class demand planning and reporting process for Consumer Finance to support accurate capital and expense forecasting.  Partner closely with cross-functional teams including, Operations, Procurement, Sales, and Finance to ensure demand forecasts are aligned with historical trends, as well as with the company’s goals and objectives.  Consolidate existing disparate process across the organization into a single source of truth, which will drive informed decision making and performance tracking.





The Main Responsibilities


  • Continuously reviews demand and supply data, and adjusts forecasts for Consumer product, device, and fiber build units in near real-time.

  • Investigate, learn, and understand demand drivers; manage reporting and forecast models.

  • Effectively identify and communicate trends and insights to stakeholders; reconcile variances and update model assumptions accordingly.

  • Identify gaps with current data reporting capabilities, and work with various teams on a gap closure plan.

  • Support development of reporting and forecasting system in Anaplan (or similar tool).

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.





What We Look For in a Candidate


  • Undergraduate degree with relevant work and/or academic experience. Degree in operations research, economics, mathematics, business, engineering, or other relevant field preferred.

  • Advanced understanding of demand planning and supply chain fundamentals.

  • 5+ years of work experience.

  • Self-motivated and strong analytical / problem solving skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively.

  • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills; experience with Anaplan, Power BI, and SQL a plus.

  • Continuous improvement mindset, interest and inclination to challenge status quo thinking.

  • S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) background strongly preferred.
