The Role
Consulting-level, highly technical professional. Expert knowledge of a specialty or professional field and strong business acumen. Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts. Works on the most complex and unique issues requiring in-depth evaluation to generate solutions to business problems. Exercises significant latitude in determining and executing objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Acts independently toward general results. Devises methods, modifies or adapts standard procedures to meet different situations. Contributes to the establishment of the organization’s strategic goals. The Main Responsibilities
- Highly strategic thinker with intense focus and understanding of Customer Experience, Journey Development and undersatnds how to turn these concepts into reality
- Enhances the alignment between business processes and information technology
- Responsible for actively resolving day-to-day technology needs of the business unit with a focus on the analysis of processes-dissecting problems and suggesting solutions
- Includes complex systems process analysis, design and simulation
- Understands technical problems and solutions in relation to the current, as well as the future business environment
- Suggests plans to integrate new and existing processes
- Provides input and supports planning and prioritization for business process engineering related activities
- Develops the business unit process engineering plan and integrates plan with corporate plan
- Participates in continuous review and update to ensure that processes meet changing business unit conditions
- Identifies processes for improvement
- Documents existing processes
- Identifies and analyzes gaps between current processes and the desired stated
- Designs new processes
- Develops process performance measures and plans the transition to a new process
- Provides counsel and leadership on future use of technology and business process improvements
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience. Typically 10+ years related experience.
- 8+ years related experience with Masters degree.
- Ph.D. preferred
- Service Delivery, Field Operations, or other Telecom-Related Operational Experience
- Trained in Lean Principles (Five S’s, Waste Reduction, Error/Mistake Proofing, PDCA, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, KAIZEN, JIT, Lead Time Reduction)
- Experienced in implementing Continuous Improvement methodologies, e.g., Lean/Six Sigma
- In Depth Knowledge or Practice in SAFe Agile Model and strong understanding of IT systems or Reporting Tools and Approaches (including JIRA, Power BI, etc.)
