The Role

The primary focus will be to prepare quarterly supporting schedules for the SEC reporting group for three filing entities, provide schedules and explanations to the external auditors, assist with the reconciliation between the SAP general ledger and OneStream consolidation tool, and provide guidance as a leader in the Consolidation and General Ledger group.  Candidate will also assist in creating and enhancing formal processes and procedures over consolidation accounting.  





The Main Responsibilities


Responsible for Equity Accounting, including rollforwards, journal entries, and reconciliations.
•  Prepare support for the Guarantor footnote and other quarterly schedules for SEC team
•  Assist in the review of consolidated FS prior to distribution.
•  Perform certain admin functions for the OneStream Consolidation tool
•  Perform significant subsidiary testing
•  Review the internal Search for Unrecorded Liabilities
•  Provide quarterly schedules for the external auditors 
•  Significant collaboration with Intercompany accounting, the Tax department, and the SEC reporting group.  
•    Mentor and support team members to help meet monthly close deadlines while ensuring accuracy.  
•    Prepare documentation and analysis to respond to internal and external requests.
•    Prepare reports and perform various projects for management as requested.
•    Communicate effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers.
 





What We Look For in a Candidate

•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
•    Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience, with at least one year in an organization with a large ERP accounting system such as SAP or Oracle.
•    Prior experience in Corporate Accounting, Equity Accounting, Reporting, or Consolidations desired.
•    CPA designation is helpful
