Job Description

CNBC has a new team for “The News with Shepard Smith,” airing weekdays at 7pm ET. In this hour long newscast, you will be an integral contributor helping widen our aperture to cover the most significant news stories of the day. *What you’ll do:*The writer will be responsible for organizing and crafting accurate, unbiased, and engaging news content aligned with the stated mission of the news program. The material will be written in the voice and style of the anchor, and in a manner that will be easily understood by a television audience. The candidate must have strong reporting, editorial, and journalism skills, along with a deep knowledge of world and national news stories and events.
