Job Summary

Lumen’s internship program is a 10 week, fast-paced and exciting opportunity to gain professional experience within your field of study and career interest. Interns within the Strategic Planning and Transformation organization will be part of an accelerated learning experience, to challenge skills learned in the classroom and develop new skills while working on active Lumen work projects. Software developer interns will have the potential to use automation and agile methodologies to provide functional, regression, sanity and integration testing, defect tracking and resolution; and assistance for User Acceptance Testing. The internship will take place in Littleton, CO from 6/1/2021 - 8/13/2021.

In addition, interns will connect to our company culture through community outreach projects, engaging with our employee resource groups and developing their professional skills and business acumen through exposure to senior leadership, cutting-edge technology, groundbreaking projects, and a network of mentors and fellow interns. Job Description

- Assist teams with getting started on new test automation, tool installation and support.
- Develop DevOps pipeline (build/test/deploy).
- Look at general collection of the tools and processes and propose ideas for improvement.
- Test Driven Development (TDD) and integrating Unit Test results with JIRA.
- Maintain a suite of automated sanity tests to verify the stability and connectivity of our test environments after daily builds.
- Assist several teams with developing and executing their automated regression suites.
