MainResponsibilities Program, Product and Systems Sales and Expertise *Deliver creative programs and product-based solutions to customercleaning and sanitizing problems using a results-driven approach,which is aligned with global Corporate Account managementobjectives * Build a solid understanding of Ecolab products, plantoperations, customer business objectives, and regulations underwhich customers operate in order to partner with customers toidentify and implement solutions that advance customer efficiencyand effectiveness. * Evaluate existing customer programs andprocesses based on observations and collected data, and identifyoperational efficiencies related to time, cost, safety and quality* Provide expertise in cleanroom, sanitizing, safety, quality, andoperations * Service the plant primarily during normal businesshours * Create a personalized approach to the operational needsusing an agile set of skills and resources including support of thechange management process and validation of the new solution *Illustrate a passion for this business knowing our customers havetheir brand and reputation at risk * Identify the needs andcustomer pain point based on industry best practices and assessmentresults * Prepare and present recommendations for products,processes and program changes using a compelling business case.Provide business case support that the customer can use with otherstakeholders during the change management approval process *Develop and manage a multi-faceted execution plan jointly withcustomer stakeholders * Respond in a very timely manner tocustomers' requests. In Life Sciences, customers expect quickturn-around for information and support Relationship Building *Develop strong personal relationships with stakeholders andfunctional personnel across the customer facility * Identify keycustomer contacts and decision makers * Communicate effectivelywith individuals at all levels of the organization, includingproduction, quality, supervisory, management, office and corporatestaff, by tailoring communications to the audience * Engage alllevels of plant personnel appropriately in decision makingprocesses * Maintain availability to customers providing accuratecontact information, and responding promptly to customer requests *Build strong professional networks and appropriately leveragecontacts to establish and/or maintain business * Ensureintroduction of key Ecolab employees to appropriate customermanagement team * Maintain active membership with trade andindustrial associations Managing Ecolab Products and Equipment *Respond promptly to customer needs and requests at all times,including evenings and weekends. * Troubleshoot issues with Ecolabproducts, equipment, and resources * Monitor product inventory andassist with order placement (if needed) * Design and deliverindividual and group training programs based on customer needsPlanning and Organizing * Provide planning and execution in supportof change management/conversions. * Work closely with the RegionalSales Manager to establish personal goals and objectives for salesand service performance. * Develop strategic work plans forcompleting sales and service calls with new and existing customers;appropriately adjust plans and schedules to accommodate changingpriorities and urgent requests. * Prepare compelling reports duringevery service call at a plant and merchandise the value deliveredand documented in the report, through Best Practice Assessments(BPAs). * Develop tracking systems, presentations, and reports.Share innovations with other Account Managers. * Complete andmanage internal and external documentation including, businessplans, service reports, progress reports and project plans. WorkEnvironment and Hours Account Managers complete the majority oftheir work in pharmaceutical and health & beauty plants,working closely with plant staff at all levels. While historically,the majority of the service hours will be during normal businesshours, Account Managers develop their sales and service schedulesto meet the needs of their customers. Additionally, you areavailable to customers via mobile phone outside of normal workinghours. Account Managers use a home office setting with companyprovided computer equipment and mobile phone to complete businesstasks. A company vehicle is also provided to Account Managers totravel to the various plant locations within your territory. Basic
