Here is what you canexpect from being an Outpatient Burn Registered Nurse with us:

• You demonstrates advanced knowledge, skills andunderstands the unique aspects of the population served in the care of his/herpatients.  Each service also requiresspecialized skills.  You deliver care basedon the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of theindividual patient. 


• You may rotate to areas other than his/herassigned service area/s, and will perform only those duties for which he/shehas demonstrated competency. 


• You perform delegated duties consistent with thescope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of caredelivery at SMC.

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as aRegistered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure. 


• Current BLS certification from American HeartAssociation or ARC.


• Graduate of a certified School of Nursing with aminimum of 276 clinical hours.
