SCHEDULE: Full-time

As part of the HealthONE family, The Medical Center of Aurora, NorthSuburban Medical Center, Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center, Rocky MountainHospital for Children, Rose Medical Center, Sky Ridge Medical Center, SwedishMedical Center, and Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital work together to provide ahigher level of care. Our facilities range from 42 beds at SpaldingRehabilitation Hospital to more than 650 beds at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s.

 

In addition, our familyof services includes six hospital free-standing emergency departments andnumerous ambulatory surgery centers, occupational medicine clinics, physicianpractices, imaging centers, and AIRLIFE-DENVER, which provides critical careair and ground transportation across a 10-state region.

 

We are currentlysearching for Respiratory Therapists at Swedish Medical Center,Centennial Hospital, North Suburban Medical Center, Presbyterian/St. Luke'sMedical Center, Sky Ridge Medical Center, and the Medical Center of Aurora. 


Wehave full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available!

 

Acute care experience ispreferred but we are considering new-grads!


*$2,000 sign-on bonus available for full-time positions at Swedish and Sky Ridge Medical Center for candidates with 2+ years' RT experience! Eligibility limited to candidates not currently employed by HCA/HealthONE.

 

This position reflectsadvanced experience and expertise in the area of Respiratory Therapy. Stafffunctioning in this role will participate in direct patient care, staff & program development and professional initiatives.   

 

The RespiratoryTherapist will demonstrate the following:

 Knowledge andskills necessary to provide care for assigned patients.  Each service areamay require specialized skills and/or serve specific age categories, which mayinclude infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Treatment in compliance with the Hospital andRespiratory Therapy Service Policies and Procedures.

Support of the Hospital and Department at alltimes and participates in the Department and Hospital Performance Improvementefforts.

Responsibility for maintaining and improvingrespiratory therapy knowledge and skills. Good judgment and the ability tofunction independently and posses evaluation and decision making skills.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
Licensure/Certification/Registration:  

  • NBRC accredited RRT credential

  • Current Basic Life Support Certification (AHA or ARC)

  • Current Colorado Respiratory License

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA or ARC)

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Preferred

  • NRP required if responsibilities include coverage in the neonatal intensive care unit and/or the employee is working as a charge therapist.

 Education:                                           
  • Graduate of AMA accredited Respiratory Therapist Program
Experience:  
  • 6 months' previous experience preferred
