The Role



The Lead Marketing Manager is responsible for developing holistic paid search campaign for Lumen with primary focus on Residential & Small Business campaigns. The lead marketing manager will manage the paid search budget and work with the digital paid media agency in order to maximize ROI, drive traffic and ultimately customers.



This is a highly visible role that will work with key stakeholders across the Mass Markets business unit as well as working closely with the organic search team. Strong understanding of pay per click campaigns, paid search bid strategy, and quality score impacts. Efficient in Google media platforms of SA360, Google Search Console, AdWords, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics, as well as Tableau and Windows platforms (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). The Lead Marketing Manager will be responsible for the ultimate success of the digital paid search advertising campaign.






The Main Responsibilities


 



  • Develop paid search tests, analyze data, identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.

  • Handle the creation of large keywords list, provide creative copy suggestions.

  • Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimization.

  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with Mass Markets business units goals.

  • Direct and handle new paid search campaigns, ad groups, and accounts and aid in the creation of paid search marketing initiatives.

  • Direct, handle, and be able to generate weekly and monthly client reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives.

  • Keep pace with search engine and pay per click industry trends and developments.

  • Define and analyze campaign KPIs to deliver consistent and rigorous measurement of progress to key goals and benchmarks.

  • Manage the digital media agency to execute paid search campaign.

  • Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies.

  • Manage execution of several projects simultaneously.






What We Look For in a Candidate


 



  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field

  • 6+ years digital marketing experience; with 3+ year with paid search experiences

  • Ability to manage a large portfolio of projects with varying release cycles, milestones, deliverables.

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

  • Results-driven personality, with a strong track record of success.

  • Strong project management skills for guiding agency deliverables effectively and efficiently.


 


Preferred


 



  • Master's Degree

  • Revenue and unit forecasting experience

  • Brand marketing experience.
