The Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy under the general direction of the Director, independently provides holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for patients routinely seen on the unit. Demonstrates clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment

to improving the quality of patient care.  Independently performs general and unit-specific clinical skills. Contributes to the St. Mark’s Hospital Department of Nursing and the nursing profession in a positive manner.

St Mark's Hospital has an opportunity for a Monitor Technician! 
PRN 

Continuously monitors the ECG patterns of all telemetry patients. In conjunction with the RN, evaluates ECG rhythms, including cardiac intervals and alerts the RN to changes or life threatening alterations in the patients monitored, taking into consideration the age of patients monitored (i.e. adult and geriatric). Facilitates the documentation of ECG strips and patient vital signs.Continuous observation provided to at risk patients by utilization of a camera, sitter runner and/or a 1:1 sitter. Camera sitter documents patient status and changes in at risk behavior. Communicate to clinical staff at risk behaviors improving patient safety.
