Inside Sales Representatives receive a competitive base salary and are eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance. Our training classes not only prepare you for your role and ensure that you have the tools and resources that you need to be successful, but we will pay for and provide support for you to obtain the required state insurance licenses you need to have.




 




If you provide verification you hold the appropriate state licenses at the time an offer is made, and upon hire you successfully complete our UHC Portfolio Agent New Hire training class, you may be eligible for a $1,000 sign on bonus.  






Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00AM - 7:00PM, shift will be provided during training.






Primary Responsibilities:




 








  • Answer incoming phone calls from prospective members and identify the type of assistance and information the customer needs with the goal to convert the caller to a qualified lead and ultimately sale








  • Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues while documenting required information in computer systems








  • Using knowledge of the product portfolio to accurately assess the distinct needs of different prospects, explain the differences between various products, and assist the prospect member in selecting a product that best meets their unique needs








  • May make outbound calls to prospective members to follow up on questions or to current members to review current or new products and services








  • Assist the prospect in completion of the enrollment application over the phone with complete, accurate and required information, consistent with product

Primary Responsibilities: 



  • Fulfill prescriptions by reviewing approved computer orders and monitoring shipments or completing the actual disbursement

  • Maintain proper inventory and storage of prescription drugs by filling dispensing units and monitoring and adjusting pharmacy equipment

  • Perform cycle counting activities and complete order processing

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:



  • 1+ years of pharmacy / prescription experience

  • National Pharmacy Tech Certification (PTCB)

As a Senior Customer Service Representative, you'll provide our members with the information they need to make better decisions about their health, helping them get access to the right care the first time. Every day, you'll provide compassionate and empathetic support to 50 to 70 callers providing guidance, support, and resolution for escalated issues. This is no small opportunity. Primary Responsibilities:



  • Serve as a resource or Subject Matter Expert for team members or internal customers

  • Handle escalated calls, resolving more complex customer issues

  • Demonstrate outstanding service to identify the source of the caller's issue and work to resolve the inquires in a timely and professional manner

  • Help guide and educate customers about the fundamentals and benefits of consumer - driven health care topics such as selecting the best benefit plan options, maximizing the value of their health plan benefits and choosing a quality care provider

  • Contact care providers (doctor's offices) on behalf of the customer to assist with appointment scheduling or connections with internal specialists for assistance

  • Assist customers in navigating myuhc.com and other UnitedHealth Group websites while encouraging and reassuring them to becoming self - sufficient with our tools

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR 10+ years of equivalent work experience

  • Familiarity with computers and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications

  • Proficient in translating health care - related jargon and complex processes into simple, step - by - step instructions customers can understand and act upon

  • Must be able to work an 8 hour shift between 6 am - 9:00 pm Sunday - Thursday, Monday - Friday, or Tuesday - Saturday 



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior health care experience

  • Knowledge of billing / finance and eligibility processes, practices and concepts


Soft Skills:

  • Proficient conflict management skills including the ability to resolve stressful situations

  • Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, build rapport and respond to customers in a compassionate manner
