As aprofessional, you will provide therapeutic, supportive, anddiagnostic respiratory services and care, based on establishedstandards, to Clara Maass Medical Center patients. The incumbent inthis role will work to restore patients pulmonary function,alleviate pain, and support life by planning and administeringmedically prescribed respiratory therapy. Duties: * Interview andexamine patients regarding their respiratory ailments. * Diagnoserespiratory ailments, test the patient s lung capacities. * Examinetest results and identify issues. * Remove mucus and other fluidsfrom the patient s lungs. * Clear patient s airways of physicalobstructions. * Educate patients on lung health and diseaseprevention. * Instruct patients on the proper use of the equipment& or respiratory care procedures. * Provide emergencyresuscitation in cases of ceased breathing. * Determine patienttreatment plans with a supervising physician. * Comply with allrequired safety and infection control procedures. * Demonstraterespect for the patient's beliefs and property.
