Shipping Clerk

Gather, verify, and pack material for shipment
Process shipments using company computer system
Prepare and verify shipments
Process orders based on predetermined packing priorities
Verify material matches accompanying shipper
Pack and secure shipment per department guidelines
Process completed packages using company computer systems
Perform daily workstation End-of-Day procedures
Maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation
Locate and gather material on released sales orders using FIFO inventory methods
Verify material matches accompanying packing slip
Stage completed orders for confirmation

1 year of shipping & receiving experience at least
Previous experience with FedEx, UPS or DHL shipping systems
Basic MS Office skills
Experience working in a high volume environment
Ability to work in a team oriented environment
Follow-up skills
Ability to be detail focused with strong communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Candidate must be dependable, detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills and the desire to exceed expectations.
