Position: RN Nurse Manager, Cardiac Care Unit CCU Employment Type: Full Time, Days Location: Greater New York City area Salary: $110,000-$125,000 + Full Benefits Hiring Organization: Level II Trauma Center Expert Nurse Manager Needed for 24/7 Cardiac Care Unit Lab at Progressive Hospital This Nurse Manager will manage both the CCU and Cardiac Cath Lab, with about 10-15 cath procedures per day. An ideal candidate is a skilled leader who is experienced in promoting compassionate care and inspiring their nursing team to deliver the best quality of cardiac treatment. This Cath Lab has a strong and collaborative team with great retention and fantastic leadership found in the Director of ICU, to whom this Nurse Manager will report. Responsibilities for the RN Nurse Manager, Cardiac Care Unit CCU Manage Cardiac Cath Lab CCL procedures Educate, train and mentor CCL, ICU and CCU nursing staff Make recommendations and process improvements as needed Hire, schedule and evaluate nurse staff Collaborate well with hospital leadership and other nurses and physicians Communicate kindly and respectfully with patients and families Ensure safety and compliance throughout cath lab, critical care unit and intensive care units Responsibilities for the RN Nurse Manager, Cardiac Care Unit CCU BSN Nursing Degree MSN, Master’s Degree Preferred Current Nursing license in state of New York Strong Cath Lab and Critical Care Experience Union experience a plus High EQ and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and inspire nursing staff Why You’ll Love It: Fantastic Physician collaboration Competitive salary Outstanding benefits: vacation, health insurance, dental, PTO Bonus/Commission: No
