Fulltime night shift 7p-7a The Registered Nurse(RN) Fulltime nights Ortho /Spine /Surgical unit which offers awide variety of patient experiences at WellStar Kennestone is aproactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed andunlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families andsignificant others receive individualized high quality, safepatient care. They practice in a clinical environment that isadministered by Nurse Managers and other leaders and is supportedthrough the WellStar Shared Governance Model. It is expected thatall RN Clinical Nurses are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold thepractice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional NursePractice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code ofEthics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association. As amember of the patient services team, it is expected that theindividual upholds the voice of the patient, system policies andprocedures while supporting service excellence goals.Qualifications Required Minimum Education: * Graduate of anaccredited/approved school of nursing: Baccalaureate degree innursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred.Required Minimum Licensure/Certification: * Current/active licenseas a registered nurse in the State of Georgia; * Must have acurrent BLS card from the American Heart Association on the firstday of employment in position. * National certification in area ofspecialty preferred.
