Shipping Clerk

If you’ve been to a store that has employees wearing shirts with logos, there is a very good chance that the product or logo decoration was done by Vantage Apparel. We’ve been the leading innovator in the promotional apparel industry since 1977, and we are looking to hire a Shipping Clerk to join our award-winning team.

The Shipping Clerk will be responsible to ship the completed goods on a daily basis Own responsibility for the timely shipping out of all goods, whether by FedEx, UPS, common carrier, pick-up, etc. as well as:

Prepare physical shipment and all documents.
Receives finished product from packing area and ensures that product, packaging label, and quantities match shipping documents.
Properly stages, pallets produce, wraps or boxes (as appropriate to order) and labels finished order for shipment.
Generates shipping labels for FedEx/UPS parcel shipments and updates FedEx/UPS database as necessary. Confirms accuracy of all information.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and goals as needed.
Perform other duties as allotted by a manager or supervisor.

• Proficient in all shipping operations.


•  Excellent language and communication skills.


•  Adequate PC knowledge.


•  Able to read instructions and comprehend specifications and format in English.


• previous knowledge of the various shipping platforms is a must.


• Must be detail oriented and accurate in writing and numbers.


• Must possess basic mathematical and keyboard skills


• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds


• Works well with others and can follow instructions


• Not afraid to ask questions! Ask for help if you aren't sure!


• Problem-solving skills


• ATTENTION TO DETAIL


• Warehouse experience strongly preferred


• Overtime/schedule flexibility required
