The Register Nurse (RN) - Renal Vascular Surgical Unit Parttime Days is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team oflicensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients,families and significant others receive individualized highquality, safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environmentthat is administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders and issupported through the WellStar Shared Governance Model. Theframework for practice is steered by the WellStar ProfessionalPractice Model, 5-Star Nursing and evidence based practice andresearch. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses are licensed,knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by theGeorgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope ofPractice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the AmericanNurses Association. Qualifications Required Minimum Education:Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing: Baccalaureatedegree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursingpreferred. Required Minimum Licensure/Certification: Currentlylicensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or hold aprivilege to practice in the State of Georgia under the EnhancedNurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). Must have a current BLS card fromthe American Heart Association on the first day of employment inposition.
