Customer Service Representative for a Large Industrial Company
Pay Rate:$17.00-$21.00(based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Qualifications
- 3+ years of related job experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Experience with SAP or ERP systems preferred
Must possess proficient computer skills, especially in Excel, Word, Outlook and ability to learn ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both via telephone, and in written format. The application of these skills is critical both with customer, and on an internal level
- Proper customer service etiquette and follow-up
Job Description
- Processing order via email and over the phone
- Supporting Sales Reps that are out in the field.
- Placing new orders and managing return requests and return samples
- Handle incoming phone calls related to; new orders, return material requests, product samples, order referrals, sales promotions, etc.
- Assist a customer, sales representative or other department with inquiries regarding billing and general information requests
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipment status, obtain shipment documents as required
- Develop and maintain positive customer relations
- Interacts with customers via phone
- Research and respond to customer inquiries regarding status of order, will investigate and resolve production status issues, will address shipping and scheduling issues, will proactively communicate with customer regarding changes in product availability or delivery schedules.
- Handles customer complaints, advises manager of problems as they relate to customer's needs
- Ensure the applicable policies and procedures for processing sales orders are adhered. Serve as liaison for field sales.
- Maintains a safe, organized workstation and follows all company policies and procedures.
