Will be provided 3-4 customers (work with big companies such as Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Home Goods, etc.) getting shipments ready. Will mainly have to communicate with carriers and freights to route orders (in their portal).
Will need to make sure orders are printed and ready to be sent down to picking/packing to then be picked up.
Interface directly with internal support groups such as shipping, inventory control, and external customers.
Maintain customer profile database (their EDI system) where they will also route orders.
Confirms pricing and acknowledges order entry within a timely manner. Ensure data entry accuracy including pricing, product codes, case counts and dates all customer orders.
Promotes a positive and professional representation of the company to internal and external customer.
Maintains ability to perform efficiently and follow through on all details, in a fast-paced, customer focused environment.
Required Skills
- At least 2 years of logistics or dispatching experience (dealing and communicating with curriers)
- Strong Excel skills (basic functions), EDI experience is a plus
- Data entry or order entry experience
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal, organization, and planning skills
- Strong sense of urgency and ownership of resolving issues
