We're looking for someone who has spot-on news judgment, knowledge of and passion for current events and politics, and stellar communication skills. If you're looking to grow within the company and take on more responsibilities, then we'd love to hear from you.A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Pitch and develop story ideas, perform research, cut tape, produce graphics, and contribute to writing segments* Stay on top of the latest editorial information and communicate changes to managers in a fast-paced atmosphere* Communicate daily story development with senior producers and contribute in the control room during the showWHAT YOU WILL NEED * At least 2-3 years of experience in television production* Thorough knowledge of news and politics* Fast and accurate writing* Ability to work under intense deadline pressure* Ability to work well in a team environmentNICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER * Bachelor’s degree in journalism or relevant field
