Junior Construction Estimator

Our client is one of the leading General Contractors in the Central and North Jersey area. They are currently looking to add a Junior Construction Estimator for their new construction projects.

Job Description:

• Assist with presentation of estimated project budgets to Preconstruction Director and PM staff, as applicable.


• Creating budgets for specific construction divisions using intelligent vendor proposals


• Issuing purchase orders for material, at direction of Superintendents and/or Project Managers.


• Working directly with Director of Preconstruction, Chief Estimator and Project Managers to formulate jobsite material delivery schedules.


• Working directly with Project Managers to formulate Change Order pricing and associated material ordering.


• Accompanying Preconstruction Director on pre-bid walk throughs and client negotiations, as applicable.


• Accurately communicating bid specifics/nuance to Preconstruction Director and Project Manager.
