QA Technician

Family-oriented company seeking committed QA technicians to become a part of a growing organization!

Summary: QA Technician must be able to multi-task in a complex, fast-paced environment, with a diverse set of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
-Conduct routine measurements of production samples and document results.
-Analyze and document product moisture.
-Manage testing of samples by 3rd-parties, including the collection & shipping of samples and the compilation of testing results.
-Conduct inspection and disposition of incoming ingredients, in-process products, & finished products.
-Audit and document packaging lines, including Metal Detection, Weight Control, Label Verification, etc.
-Audit and document retention (shelf) samples.
-Interact with receiving, production, packaging, and warehouse staff.
-Assist in routine lab activities.

Required Skills:

-Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in QA in a similar manufacturing environment (food manufacturing a plus)
-Ideal candidate will have a BS/AS in a relevant field, but most important is direct experience in monitoring quality and plant operation (production, packaging, shipping) support.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.

Logistics:

There are two positions available: 1 day shift, 1 night shift. These are rotating, 12 hour shifts.
