Veterinary Tech

We have 3 locations in the Los Angeles area. Two locations are open 7 days a week, and one location is open 6 days a week. We are looking for a technician that enjoys interacting with clients and their pets. Must have at least 1 year experience as a Registered veterinary technician with California Medical board, and have knowledge of vaccination protocols, pharmacology, nutrition, and animal husbandry and care. Tech will be expected to assist the veterinarian in the care of animals. This may include restraining, cleaning patients; providing medical care assigned by the veterinarian including assisting in surgery, dental cleanings; as well as offering any communication to the client as specified by the veterinarian. Must be able to perform laboratory analysis, collect samples needed,and take radio graphs, for dental and body. Technician must be able to educate clients on the care and condition of their pets. Expected to be pleasant, patient, courteous, and polite to clients. Always able to work with the team with open communication. Contribute to keeping the office flowing in an organized, efficient manner, through open communication with Doctor and staff. Able to take and follow directions. Be able to work weekends, and have a flexible schedule. Two hospital locations have high volume spay and neuter surgeries. After 90 days employee eligible for health insurance, company pays a percentage. After one year, available to sign up for 401k/profit sharing. Paid vacation time of 7 days after first year.
