Production Machine Operator (Start ASAP)

Job Title: Machine Operator (Hiring ASAP)

Location: Kearny, NJ

Hours: 4/3 schedule (OT available)

Pay Rate: $18-19/hour

Optional benefits; Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K

Job Responsibilities:

• Be familiar with laminator, autocatchers, palletizer, and line drive jobs and procedures


• Manually stack-off product during equipment failure


• Clear machine jams


• Prepare shingle bundles for wrapper


• Wrap or Rewrap finished product as necessary


• Visibly check measurements of shingles


• Assist in lace-up procedures


• Handle, stack, weigh, mark, and store product seconds in proper location


• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on down days


• Assist team members to keep front end of line running smoothly


• Relieve front end team members for break periods


• Assist the shift mechanic on machine outages


• Visibly verify completion and submission of operator paperwork


• Participate in process teams

Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States


• Willing to submit to Drug and Background Screening


• Must have Basic English Comprehension Skills


• Must be able to operate computer


• Must be able to operate a forklift
