Job Description

Job Summary: The Medical Group strives every day toconsistently deliver on the Health System patient service promiseof Don t Harm Me, Help Me and Be Nice to Me . The Regional Manager(RM) reports to a Regional Director (RD) for their territory. TheRM is at the front line of upholding these principles as theyoversee the operations of multiple assigned practice locations. TheRM supervises practice site business and clinical functionsincluding front desk, medical records, nursing, and ancillaryservices to ensure a safe, and compassionate experience for ourpatients and their families as well as a supportive and productivepractice environment for our providers and staff. The RM ensuresoptimal utilization of resources and the efficient delivery ofservices. The RM is also responsible for making sure their assignedpractice sites are in compliance with all applicable policies, lawsand regulations. Essential Functions: * Works collaboratively withand supports the RD to ensure timely and efficient onboarding ofacquired practices, following up on action items and communicatingfindings to the appropriate team members. * Develops, plans, andbudgets on a strategic, tactical and operational level for and witheach practice. * Routinely reviews management reporting data toensure operations is performing to budget and identifies ways toimprove efficiency. * Initiates processes/improvementscommunicating with VP, RD and practice site providers and staff. *Identifies operating costs and operational capital budget needs incollaboration with providers and office managers. Completes ROI andjustifications, submitting to RD and VP. Reviews monthly budget andidentifies areas of cost saving. * Schedules and uses staffappropriately across practice locations for optimal coveragewhenever possible (vacations, sick etc.). Establishes monthlyschedules for providers and staff. * Tracks and evaluates on aregular basis scheduling, practice revenues, staff competencies andtraining. * Communicates and coordinates with HR including payroll,orientation of staff and delivery of employee handbook andpolicies. Oversees payroll in accordance with company policy.Follows disciplinary process in accordance with HR policy andprocedures. Performs annual staff performance evaluations. Looksfor ways to improve patient, provider and staff engagement. * Holdsregular staff meetings for designated practices. * Ensures qualitymeasures are implemented and ongoing for assigned practices, trackdeficiencies and works collaboratively with Director of Quality toensure compliance.
