The Daily Briefing is looking for a talented and collaborative Senior Booking Producer to join our team! You will be responsible for booking top-tier guests and you know what it takes to get the exclusive. We are looking for both a leader and a team player who has great contacts, a great attitude, and understands our audience.You will be offered the following shift: Mondays thru FridaysA SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Book top-tier guests for the show on a daily basis* Conduct pre-interviews and research packets for various guests and segments* Strategize and collaborate with colleagues about the best guests to book for the show and on best booking approaches* Pitch different guests and topics that would be a good fit for the show* Pitch unique and interesting stories that our viewers will relate to* Manage daily deadline turnarounds of a live-showWHAT YOU WILL NEED * At least 5 years of experience in news or politics* Previous booking experience* Strong editorial and newsgathering experience * An extensive rolodex and the know-how to book everyone from high-profile guests, celebrities, and people at the center of major news stories* Solid knowledge and passion for current events and politics* Ability to work under tight deadline pressures while juggling long-term bookings* Excellent communication skills* Willing to travel when necessaryNICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER * A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
