Responsibilities The RegisteredNurse (RN) Fulltime nights G4W Pulmonary is a proactive member ofan interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care giverswho ensure that patients, families and significant others receiveindividualized high quality, safe patient care. They practice in aclinical environment that is administered by Nurse Managers andother leaders and is supported through the WellStar SharedGovernance Model. The framework for practice is steered by theWellStar Professional Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing and evidencebased practice and research. It is expected that all RN ClinicalNurses are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice ofnursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Actand implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standardsput forth by the American Nurses Association. QualificationsRequired Minimum Education * Graduate of an accredited/approvedschool of nursing: Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from anaccredited school of nursing preferred. Required MinimumLicensure/Certification * Currently licensed as a Registered Nursein the State of Georgia or hold a privilege to practice in theState of Georgia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).* Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Associationon the first day of employment in position. Preferred Experience *National certification in area of specialty preferred. RequiredMinimum Experience * Experience with direct patient care.
