We arecurrently seeking a fellowship-trained, BC/BE Pediatric EmergencyMedicine Physician to join our Team in Fort Myers, Florida. MEDICALDIRECTOR opportunity exists in addition to non-leadership position.Pediatric Emergency Services are delivered through GolisanoChildren's Hospital, and are essential to the health and well-beingof the pediatric population of Southwest Florida. Within ourPediatric Emergency Department, we offer a LEAN Care Track, inaddition to acute care services. Golisano Children's Hospital ofSouthwest Florida is a new, state-of-the-art, free-standing,family-centered, full-service pediatric hospital. This 128 bedregional hospital has a 64 bed Neonatal intensive care unit, andcares for children across a five county area. Golisano Children'sHospital is recognized nationally as one of the nation's 10 "TopChildren's Hospitals" by the Leapfrog Group, and was also awardedSoliant's 2018 Most Beautiful Hospital in the U.S. Our mission isto keep children close to home for their medical care. The GolisanoChildren's ED is staffed with double coverage 24/7 by PediatricEmergency Physicians and Advanced Providers, and utilizes Epic EMR.Our 28 bed ER sees nearly 40,000 patients annually. ED employmentshift are 10 hours in length, with boosted coverage during peakhours and high season * 156 total shifts per year constitutefull-time employment (13 shifts/month) We have access to leadingedge equipment and technology connectivity with hospitals andoutpatient center through EPIC.
